This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review. It earned $$ on the Mousehead&tales scale.
This was the first in a collection of short stories about unhappy princess's. The tale was obnoxiously predictable & the attempt at "period writing" was lacking & kind of irritating. The only thing that I could say about this upcoming collection is that the stories are perfect bedtime stories. Short, happy ending, & nothing that would bring out the boogy man.
Had this book been directed for the children's market I would have still thought "meh" but at least it would have been accurate.
So if there are any parents or babysitters out there looking to help out a writer check out "The Melancholy Princess" by Sheela Ward available on amazon.com
