Nothing should come between best friends, not even boys. ESPECIALLY not boys.

Then it happens—one crazy night that Natalie can't remember and Brooke's boyfriend, Aiden, can't forget. Suddenly there's a question mark in Natalie and Brooke's friendship that tests everything they thought they knew about each other and has both girls discovering what true friendship really means.

REVIEW!
Mousehead & Tales reviewing the YA novel "Anything to Have You" by Paige Harbison .
This book is absolutely a chick lit. recommend . If you enjoy a little bit of the "odd couple" best friend relationship than the relationship between the two main characters "Natalie" & "Brooke" will appeal, amuse, and possibly remind you of your own life.
With the super down to earth Nattie and the ultra glamour/ party girl Brooke coming to the end of their senior year in highschool Brooke Queen of social manipulation and flirtation wants Natalie to reconnect with their social clique to create those last a lifetime memories that they will take with them when they part ways for actual life to begin.
This requires Natalie to start going to highschool drinking parties, committing to going to prom and other school sponsored events, and socializing with guys to have some "wild memories" to look back on when they're no longer young and care free.
Natalie lives with her fantastic single father and Brooke lives with her well off business mother and father. Natalie & Brooke have been friends since grade school and though they have grown up to be complete different women, their friendship has overridden petty differences... until a sexy Texan implant named "Aiden" moved to town during their junior year.
Boy crazy Brooke wanted to know that she could have the boy that EVERYONE was talking about, and sadly Natalie who hasn't had interest in any of the immature jocks and players actually noticed Aiden & thought maybe he was a guy she would like to get to know.
Having had a bad experience with the high schools bad boy "Reed" Natalie had sworn off guys and the entire idea of highschool hit and run relationships. Things get very interesting for both Natalie & Brooke when they go to a Valentines Day party and with a lot of drinking, flirting, drunk couple fighting, and surprising flirtations the story tests how true highschool friendships and romances really are.
I enjoyed the switch-up in the P.O.V. Certain days you know what Natalie is doing and how she's feeling and what she thinks is going on with Brooke... Then you have Brooke's P.O.V. and it changes the way the you feel about certain indescrestions or actions. Natalie's not as "over the whole h-s" guy thing as she seems and Brooke isn't the super self- confident party queen either. It's a dramatic but pretty accurate description of how everyone has insecurities and are capable of betraying each other even while truly caring about each other while it's happening . Basic human nature.
I would recommend this book to people that enjoy "Gossip Girl", "Sex in the City", "Pretty Little Liars" or the O.C. there is drama, deceit , romance, true friendship, and dealing with the consequences of all types of early life choices. I rate this book 3 $,$,$, or 3 stars. Make sure to check out the links and add this book to your to be read list! Thanks for checking in with the event on Mousehead & Tales.
