As of May 7th 2013 ( some say the 14th) but currently I've heard the former. This will be the last nail in the coffin that was a very fun series for many years. The last book in the series "Dead-Locked" was a complete disappointment for me. It was a book full of pair the spares, finally see what or if Sam & Sookie... Well who knows right? I'm hoping that the last book will be fantastic. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll tear through it as I did the first book in this series, as well as the second and so on. As much as I don't want to let these characters I've come to know and love or hate go, I am glad that instead of dragging it out & just milking money out of the fans of the original book series & now also the show "True Blood". It seems the show will keep tapping that vein until all fans are anemic or glamored :) but for now if your looking for a fun way to read this last book in the "Sookie Stackhouse Saga" head over to goodreads. It's going to be the book if the month for May so you can rant & rave & cry & chat away with the entire goodreads community . I'd also love it if you left your opinions here because I promise you there will defiantly be a memorial service for the Sookie Books. Mouseheadandtales loved it from the first day Bill glided into Merlotte's ! Well we still have a few weeks before that comes to pass so please if you have any thoughts or books you'd like to chat about feel free to leave a comment :) I answer them all & try to do it as quickly as possible. That's all for now.
I'm really enjoying this series. I haven't found anyone else as into it due to the amount of cursing & the fact that Chess is an addict. Those are just a few of the reasons I'm really liking this series. A heroine with more flaws than bad choice in men, socially inept or dysfunctional , a loner. I like that if you dealt with paranormal shit on the daily it would probably take a lot more than coffee or a bath & a glass of wine... Even the "cure -all of chocolate or "Ben & Jerry's would not make most people calm enough to go out night after night dispatching evil from the world w/o a few Valium, Percs, Xanax to calm the nerves & take the edge of of the beating the character's get while subduing the baddies. I'm not condoning drugs or alcohol / cigarettes but I am saying that if all of our favorite paranormal huntress's , hunters & back-up were in town some areas of the city that would terrify a coffee shop barista would feel almost homey to a demon hunter. I'd love to hear you're opinions about this topic. Feel free to leave comments here or on my goodreads page ( Clare Dooley )
That's correct friends! The sequel to the first book "Mousehead&tales" ever gave a FIVE ,$ $ $ $ $, dollar review . "Club Monstrosity " by Jesse Petersen . My good friends @ Netgalley gave me an ARCcopy for an honest review. I began the tale yesterday afternoon & I'm just about to finish it. I'll be giving a full review after I completely absorb the nuances that make up this series. I can say with no doubt that it was a entertaining read that I was immediately drawn back into as if I had never stopped & accepted that the silver lining of the first book ending was that is was going to be a series. So if you didn't do it after reading my review about how brilliant "Club Monstrosity" is you should take the time to read it now so you're up to speed when "The Monsters in Your Neighbrhood" becomes available through amazon , Barnes & Noble, etc.
Mac 1.0 ( I couldn't stand her in the beginning ) posed here with the loadstone of all Alpha Males...(his character actually won a real award for best fictional Alpha male )!
Though the author claims that SHE doesn't even control him. He whispers his ideas to her subconscious while she sleeps. Jericho Z. Barrons even complained about the furniture in his home.
Karen Marie Moning said he intimidates even her. Lol
